Conclusion

Being Lead UI Designer on the project was one of my biggest undertakings as I had to recreate what had already once been made. The results I achieved with the team at Bazooka Tango were key, in helping the game both stand out and launch on time.

Being able to be part of the development at the start with a small team to guide and work with to an expanded team as the development of the game grew gave me an incredible amount of experience and knowledge on how to best create a Style Guide that will easily translate for every UI layout that is understandable for every Designer and Developer to build a UI layout that gives a clear and recognizable path for the User.

My time on Shardbound was a very fun and insightful experience, working with veterans in the game industry who had previously worked on titles like Vain Glory and League of Legends. I am a better designer today due to my time spent working with the team and creating a visually stunning game.
