I was the UI/UX designer on this project, working on the userflow, keeping the design library on brand and creating animations and assets.
Project Details
Challenges
- Create new assets and style for the website that fits the new branding.
- The company offers a vast range of services, the navigation needed to reflect with a easy navigable user path.
- Design new animations and iconography that fit the look and feel of the new website.
- Work with Marketing to create templates for future events and strategies.
Objectives
- Creating and understanding User Personalities for clients who would be using the site.
- Create User Journeys throughout the website with the quickest most efficient path to get the information they need.
- Prototype and Wireframe the new User Journey for the website.
- Implement lightweight and natural feeling animations for each service.
- Create an SEO friendly website to market the Website towards the correct audience.
Solution
- Using AdobeXD, Photoshop and Illustrator, created efficient wireframes that would modernise the website.
- Created a new easy-to-use navigation bar to direct users to the correct service.
- Added SVG animations that would load fast but be effective.
- Added new branding and assets to tie the wireframes together.
- Worked with marketing to make us the first result on Google when searching for ICT solutions in Australia.
Conclusion
The overhaul of the Website came with great feedback from both Stakeholders and Users. Helping us bring in new clients while giving the current clients a new and easy path to services they struggled to find or understand previously. I upskilled in motion design and UX while delivering a new style the team was very proud of.
